You know how some people never know what they want to do with their lives? They search for clues and ideas of what they're good at, what they might want to be, sometimes never finding them. I've always loved animals and photography. Always.

I live in South Central Pennsylvania with my husband Mike Argento who is a columnist for the York
Daily Record and author of the novel Don't Be Cruel, our greyhound Lester, terrier Shmuley, five cats-Keiko, Soshe, Ya-Ya, Slink, and Monkey Boy.........and an iguana named Lizzie.

I've always had a special feeling for animals. I believe in animal rescue. All of my animals were rescues, except for the oldest, a 15-year-old Siamese. There are so many animals that need homes, it just seems the natural thing to do if you want a pet.
